About the Project

To develop a platform for daily reporting that is hassle-free, convenient, and simple to use for all parties involved.


This was designed to be a replacement for the workshop’s physical daily work management board.


  • Our clients had a physical daily work management board installed in the workshop floor. This physical board was being used to manage the daily workload and various other parameters like- safety, quality, costing, etc.
  • Every day, all concerned workers used to go through the lengthy and time-consuming procedure of updating an excel sheet with all of the essential requirements, graphs, and other information, printing it, and pinning it to the physical board.
  • No mechanism for backtracking and better analysis of data.
  • Disorganized communication process.
  • Chaos due to accountability issues.
  • Unavailability of schedule reports.
  • No adherence to the processes by stakeholders.

Through interactions and conversations, our team understood all the important business functions with each key stakeholder and the required validation checks. We developed a single web application that included automated processes that ensured the entering of data directly by each department without reconciliation and manual intervention. This application did not require any manual intervention, was relevant to all, and involved all departments.

In order to validate the data accuracy and report issues to respective stakeholders/departments, we developed a strong validation and reporting engine according to business logic. This enhanced stakeholders; accountability for the data entered.
The overall process time reduced drastically as all the required data was available at a central location to all the stakeholders.

Reports and dashboards provided critical information easily that helped to provide a clear overview of operations.


  • This single web application with data validation and issues reporting mechanism ensured data was accurate and reported to the concerned department on time.
  • People in positions of responsibility were able to stay on top of the information at all times thanks to a dashboard for each department and role-based relevancy.
  • Report generation and delivery to each relevant stakeholder helped in better collaboration between them.
  • The use of Run Time Alerts ensured a proactive approach to problem solutions before a problem was raised.
